ABOUT THE LARRYS CLOCKS

For a few years, Larry would scour local Antique Stores, Thrift Shops and Estate Sales to find, rescue and repair distressed clocks. He would re-sell the clocks on-line and he even had a booth at Superstition Grand Antique Mall on Main Street in Mesa

After a while more clocks were being rescued than re-sold.

It was time to close the store.

.... But that was not the end of Larrys Clocks.

Larry started selling new clocks that were customized (Public Domain Clocks).

Larry started to repair clocks owned by other people. (Repair Services).

Public Domain Clocks

Analog clocks are art. Whether it is on the scale of "Big Ben" or demure porcelon, analog clocks tell a story.

In January 2016, the New York Public Library released over 180,000 out-of-copyright materials as high-resolution downloads. That means everyone has the freedom to enjoy and reuse these materials in almost limitless ways.

The collection contains art from the 11th century through the 20th century. It includes the works of famous artists and chronicles the people, places and events captured by them by them.

Larry searched the collection to find art that creates analog clocks that tell a story.

These are displayed on this site and I will be adding more as I go on.

To have a clock made for you:

Select the art you want within the clock.

Select clock body and hands color.

Determine if you want a minutes ring.

Choose a style for the numerals.

Submit your order.

Larry will send you an invoice.

Clock Repair

Larry has repaired all types of clocks: old, very old and new.

Larry works on weight driven clocks, such as Cuckoo clocks, spring driven clocks and electric clocks.

Larry will not accept watch spring driven clocks or ones that require a tool to open.

Larry will travel within Mesa if you have a Grandfather type clock at your home or business.

Clocks are dropped off by appointment. Larry will keep you informed as he works on the repair, and let you know when the clock is ready to be picked up.
